I wrote a letter to our local newspaper about a personal opinion on the cigarette tax in Wisconsin. I proposed that if the government can stop people from smoking by increasing taxes then they should also tax alcohol. I don't necessarily agree with the cigarette tax but made it a point that alcohol is actually more harmful than tobacco. Well anyway, I got a call this morning and the editor wanted to publish my opinion! I was excited...well ok maybe it isn't an actual letter of true importance but it was thrilling to get a call from the newspaper.....I'll keep you posted for the article on-line!
